Last weekend was the Spring Festival, the traditional Chinese New Year! Chris and I had a busy time during the holiday since my family were in Shanghai. Just like every other Chinese New Year, we had a great time enjoying a lot of delicious food, taking time off work and getting together with our family. Time always passes fast during holidays and I felt a bit sad that the holiday is over. However, I felt excited when I realized my husband's birthday is coming!

This year Chris and I took a trip to Beijing for Christmas. We were worried about the air quality before we went, since the previous week it was so bad that flights were even delayed! Luckily, the air and weather were amazing while we were there, and we even had blue skies the entire time!

Today I would like to share with you my favorite winter outerwear - a drop-shoulder pink peacoat. Just like I mentioned in the last post, I don't really like wearing dull colors in winter. Bright and warm colors usually make me feel better during cold seasons, especially when it's sunny outside. Whenever I shop for my winter collection, I try to get something special for my wardrobe. My husband helped me pick out this coat last year for Christmas and it became my favorite winter outerwear since then.

Thanksgiving is over and there isn't much difference for us this year than last year- no turkey, no holiday atmosphere, no get together. We both missed a lot about the family feast we usually had when we were living in US, and of course the tons of fun shopping on black Friday and Cyber Monday.

I really like going through my wardrobe and pairing up different outfits during weekend, and today is no exception. After I spent almost an hour looking through my wardrobe, I finally decided to wear the flora jacket I recently bought from a boutique store, with a flora sweatshirt underneath. Actually it was my husband's idea to pair those two flora tops together. and I have to say they turned out great and looked really cute with each other.
